the diving horse is an independent print magazine rooted in atlantic city. every issue lands on bar tops, coffee counters, shop shelves, and tables where actual conversations happen. people pick it up, take it home, show their friends, and leave it somewhere another person can find it. tourists, line cooks, teachers, writers, foodies, history nerds, coffeeheads, ravers, moms, daughters, sons are all among people who pick this up. unlike a digital ad, it does not disappear because somebody moved their thumb half an inch. musicians who we interview tour and bring it on the road. parents buy dozens of copies to distribute amongst family when their kids get published. it really is an interesting crowd we have here.
